There are a lot of good bloggers on here, and its good to have people acknowledged for their good work.  My first favorite is Urban Developer, he speaks his mind and gets his point across very well. 

Hotchics has done extremly well drawing you in, and has very interesting ideas and concepts. 

I also enjoy casey's blog.  I think some people just write to make it look like they actually have something to say, when in reality they are just going on and on, and talking in circles.  This blogger makes her point short and sweet, and it works great

Gay Spongebob

I think that this whole outlook on cartoon characters being gay is ridiculous.  When i have seen Spongebob in the past, i would not classify him as gay, or his lifestyle being gay.  His best friend is Patrick, and it's not like they do gay activities.  Bert and Ernie are just roomates, just like all other guys that room with other guys.  This whole homosexual comparison with cartoons seems to go to far.  If you want gay, watch Will and Grace.

Television shows are a huge part of our culture.  Everyone likes entertainment, and its plays a huge role peoples lives.  It is a good diversion to get away from your own problems, and enjoy watching drama with other people.  Entertainment is a good way to help relieve stress.  Pornography helps people relieve stress.  They are able to get entertainment, as well as relieve tension and feel good.  It is understandable why it has become a huge part of societys entertainment source. 

Child Porn

Hundreds of thousands of pictures of children being sexually abused on the internet, is one of the most disturbing things i have ever heard.  People have to be sick and completly twisted to post up child porn of little kids and even teenagers.  The people that create these should be found and put in jail, and the people that watch them, are just as messed up.

How can watching an older person raping or sexually abusing a child be a turn on?  What kind of sick minded person would get pleasure from that?  Can you imagine what the rest of that child’s life would become?  Rape is a huge matter and disturbing act that has become apart of awareness in our society, but the fact that rape on children exists for pleasure is disturbing. 

Pornography has gone way to far.  Adults get bored with watching sex with other adults, so they move to fetishes, and people even like watching beastiality.  Sickening as that is, child porn just proves pornography has gone way to far and way to exreme.  It is horrible to even think about, but for someone who watches it for pleasure, is beyond disturbing.  Think about the hundreds and thousands of children who are exposed, used, raped, abused, all for pleausre.  If people want to try and say that pornography hasn’t gone to far, just think about the acts that some children have to go through. 

P and P

Porn and Prostution?  The reaccuring theme throughout the lecture included both of these being closley related.  I for one never really thought about that.  After hearing about the idea, and the more i thought about it, the more and more it makes sence.  There is a huge connection between them both that poses a very good idea.

They both are people getting paid to have sex and provide pleasure.  Porn provides pleasure for its viewers, and prostution provides pleasure for the recipiant.  Even though prostution is illegeal, it is so much alike the pornography industry, because people are getting paid to have sex with other people.  So is there really a difference?  But if you think about it, porn can be presented to be exactly like prostitution.

The producer/director can be related to the ‘horny’ guy that wants to pay someone for action.  The actors, and prostitute are both getting paid to have sex and provide pleasure.  They are very identical, so how come one is illegeal and one is not?

Tunnel Vision

Isnt it just great to know that Tunnel Vision is the number one selling pornographic film this week.  Last week it was number 2, and its been on the chart for 3 weeks. 

This is like the porn version of billboard.  It is based on Rental Figures from Traditional Retailers and Sales From Traditional and On-Line Retailers.  Well im sure everyone wants to know the most popular pornography.  For example, if your in the mood….Where the Boys arent 17 is number 2 this week.  Must be a hott item.  This is a little sickening.

Erotica L.A.

Erotica LA will host the first annual F.A.M.E. Awards (Fans of Adult Media & Entertainment) at 9 p.m. on Saturday, June 24 at the Los Angeles Convention Center.

“While there are numerous other award shows in adult businesses, we wanted to create one where the true critics — the fans — could pick their favorites in the categories that matter most to them,” explained Dan Davis, editor-in-chief of Genesis. “The fans will be the ones pre-nominating the performers and movies, choosing the finalists, and ultimately naming the winners. These are their awards.”

Fans above the age of 18 can go to the F.A.M.E. website (www.thefameawards.com) and vote on nominations in the appropriate categories until March 15. The finalists in each category will be announced shortly thereafter based on the pre-nomination results and voting will continue until June 23.

Who knew peoples choice would turn to pornography.  This is insane, and it is just another idea that points to how the porn industry has become so huge in society, that they have an award show based on this.  Bringing the adult world closer to its fans, this is going a little far. The sad thing is to find out how many people are actually going to vote for this show.

RE: Dorm Storm

wow, when i read this i had to kinda laugh to myself.  I never really thought about the point they made about going to such a large school as UB, and people possibly participating in this.  Luckily, i live in an apartment downtown, but you never know…maybe there are rauncy tales of apartment porn.  I agree, it is pretty appalling.  But it is true, its just a bunch of bored kids who have nothing better to do and come up with the smart idea of making their own dorm porns.  Being as tho dorm porn is so common, i would also make sure to knock before entering.

Olympics in Penthouse?

Snowboard Olympic silver medalist Danny Kass is featured in the March issue of Penthouse dedicated to the Winter Olympics.  Besides Kass and its model spreads, the magazine will provide a guide to the Games in Torino, Italy, by sizing up the hopefuls from the sure things. The magazine also points out the hotties who could heat up the games, including snowboarder Hannah Teter. 

Even things as the olympics are being published in such magazines as Penthouse.  And medalists feel the need to take off their clothes too, its not just models actors and singers…it has moved to athletes.  It seems as tho everyone feels the need to take off their clothes to get a little publicity.

Stupid Girls

I just recently saw the new video for Pink’s song Stupid Girls.  I think it is so funny how she imitates all these sex symbols in the videos.  She makes fun of all the ‘hollywood hotties’ and does it very well.  The song is about not wanting to conform to what so many girls are doing these days. 

I think the fact that so many celebrities are giving so many peeks of their bodies with what they wear and the actions they do, and then getting offers from playboy for millions of dollars because people would pay so much to see them naked.  And the fact that celebrity porns that are leaking online and stuff are the most popular. 

American Porn

I cant believe how many people actually watch and pay for porn.  I always knew that people watched it, but i wasnt sure to what extent.  It amazes me how much this industry has grown and how much money it racks in. 

Its also crazy that people that have created their own websites with their webcam are bringing in a lot of money.  The fact that there are so many people out there that watch porn so that people with webcams are making money, is incredable.  Who knew that money could be made so easily by the simplest technology, as long as it produced some type of pornography
